Special Floppy to Login to XP
That got your attention didn't it? Well it's not entirely inaccurate, there's a way to set Windows XP to only allow you to login if there's a special floppy disk in the drive. Without the floppy there's nothing you can do here, nothing to see. So how do you enable such a feature you wonder? Well I don't know. Alright just kidding Make sure you have a blank floppy disky in the drive. Start -> Run -> syskey From the Securing the Windows XP Account Database window, click the update button. The Startup Key windows will appear. Check the System Generated Password option. Check the Store Startup Key on Floppy Disk option. Click OK
